Tolos e Sábios - Wise and Fools

Os tolos dominam o mundo, identificam-se com a mente, agem e sofrem.
Os sábios silenciosamente contemplam toda confusão com espanto mas ao mesmo tempo com grande tranquilidade por entenderem que nada pode ser feito para despertar tolos.
Aliás não foram gerações e gerações e gerações consecutivas de tolos que fizeram o mundo ser o que é?
Afinal são estes tolos que têm filhos e são estes mesmos tolos que educam os filhos para repetirem sempre de novo e de novo e de novo a ignorância que suas vidas trazem consigo.
E apesar de levarem uma vida sem sentido, cheia de ilusões e sofrimento, os tolos continuam a se multiplicarem sem reflexão alguma, talvez na esperança que dias melhores surjam pela frente simplesmente por geração espontânea. Mas o que surge na verdade disto é mais e mais ignorância e sofrimento.
E assim tudo se repete numa roda sem fim. A isto os sábios deram o nome de Roda do Samsara.

É um pouco frustrante ver de fora da roda todo este teatro de horrores que os tolos nos apresentam, mas ao mesmo tempo não deixa de ser tragicômico, trazendo um pouco de riso e diversão com tanta ação sem nenhuma direção ou sentido.

The fools rule the world, identify with the mind, act and suffer.
The wise silently contemplate any confusion with amazement but at the same time with great tranquility 
because they understand that nothing can be done to wake up fools.
By the way there have been generations and generations and generations consecutive of fools that made the
world being what it is, it is not so?
After all, are these fools who have children and are these same fools who raise their children to repeat 
again and again and again and again the ignorance that their lives bring with them.
And though living a meaningless life, full of illusions and suffering, fools continue to multiply without
any reflection, perhaps in the hope that better days ahead arise simply by spontaneous generation.
But what emerges in fact it is more and more ignorance and suffering.
And this is repeated in an endless wheel. To this the wise men gave the name of the Wheel of Samsara.

It's a bit frustrating to see beyond the wheel all this theater of horrors that fools present to us, 
but at the same time it remains tragicomic, bringing a little laughter and fun with so much action 
with no direction or sense.
